About Attorney Beyer

Bill Beyer has been a trial lawyer for over fifty-five years representing companies and individuals in both state and federal courts. His practice includes the representation of individuals and corporations in government investigations conducted by the FBI, SEC, Department of Labor, the Ohio Attorney General’s office and other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. Over the years, he has defended persons criminally prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and county prosecutors throughout the State of Ohio. His wide range of clients include owners/executives of companies both large and small , as well as accountants, lawyers, doctors, professional athletes, labor leaders, politicians, stockbrokers, and members of law enforcement.

In the civil arena, he has defended clients against governmental administrative actions as well as private lawsuits between companies alleging contract disputes, UCC violations, business torts, minority shareholder interests, anti-trust, and the protection of proprietary interests.

Although he now limits his in-court appearances, Mr. Beyer continues to represent individuals and companies involved in grand jury investigations and serves as a valued resource for attorneys representing clients in the federal courts. Respected by his peers, Mr. Beyer is a perennial selection to both Ohio’s Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.  For each of the past 45 years, he has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s coveted “AV” Peer Review Rating which is based on a lawyer’s legal ability and ethical practices.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
